My name is Lucas, and this is my collection of truck magazines and posters. I have loved trucks my whole life and I have been collecting them since I was four. When I was little, I used to play with toy trucks, but now I buy magazines.
The magazines are my favourite. Sometimes I get them for birthday or Christmas presents, but mostly I save up money and buy discontinued magazines at the Selwyn Libraries Big Book Sale. I used to take the magazines to school when I was younger, but now I just like to read them with my dad.
I love trucks so much I go truck spotting - I have been doing this for years. Sometimes the truck drivers even honk and wave to me. My dad and I also go to truck shows together. I have even ridden in a big truck before! I follow truck accounts on TikTok, and I love to play the Farm Simulator game on the PS5 because I get to practice driving a truck or tractor. Sometimes when I have enough money, I print off truck pictures here at Te Ara Ātea to hang in my room at home.
