DescriptionLeadlight window from the entrance porch of the Ellesmere County Council Building at Memorial Square, Leeston, opened on 24 November 1927. This was a brick building cemented in white, built in Italian Doric style, and praised at the time for its 'beauty and utility combined'.

This building was eventually replaced by new offices designed by Don Donnithorne, which opened in October 1969.
