DescriptionIn 2025, a group of Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School leaders from Year 8 worked with the Heritage and Content team from Selwyn Libraries to curate an exhibition of archival items from the school's collection.
Through a series of workshops they examined the school's archival collection and learned about how to handle and display items correctly. They also discovered the science of how material items break down, and researched and wrote an exhibition brief and labels for the item they selected.
One of these items was selected for inclusion in an exhibition case at Te Ara Ātea. Enjoy their selection of taonga!DateSeptember 2025
