DescriptionHand-made banners were the hallmark of each branch of the organisation known as WDFU, WDFF and now Rural Women New Zealand. They formed the centrepiece of each meeting, and were taken locally and nationally to conferences. They were often embroidered: such as the Darfield banner here, made from a tapestry.
