DescriptionHouse at Greendale, known as Netherlea, which was owned by farmer George Henry Ridgen (1877 - 1955) who married Helen Matilda Colee in 1898; after her death in 1917, he married Catherine Henrietta Gillanders in 1918.
Original notes state: 'G.H. Ridgen, Greendale, Canterbury. 1 Oils 2 B & W. "Netherlea" 1926. White house. Dark red roof. Red geraniums & white daisies in front of house.
