Add29th Feb 2024 10:57AMNote Broken River railway station just behind the group, close to the north end of the Broken River viaduct. The station opened in 1905 so this photo must have been taken not long before. Interesting that rails were bent manually using the powerful clamp in the foreground and a lot of leverage provided by the long pole held by the man on the right. Wooden sleepers were Australian hardwood.
